What is UX-PM?

The UX-PM Certification is an international user experience (UX) training program for digital product leads, IT, marketing and project managers as well as any professional eager to discover this approach.

There are 3 levels: Adopting UX, Executing UX, and Leading UX. Each level builds to expand knowledge of UX and how to integrate and manage it to achieve an awesome user experience in your projects. Each level is offered as a 3-morning course, is certified by the UXalliance and is internationally recognized.

Today more 13 000 participants have been certified worldwide.

Leading UX

Level 3 of the UX-PM certification, is for any professional who wishes to bridge the gap between the product and the service,  to increase the level of UX maturity in the organization, to understand what expertise is needed to help with this transformation and to measure the impact of UX on the project.

Objectives

UX-PM 3: Leading UX
  • Understand the connection between the product and the service (Service Design)
  • Develop a UX maturity model and a roadmap to initiate change towards a customer-centric organization
  • Build UX capacity
  • Integrate collaboration and co-creation activities into teams
  • Define key experience indicators to measure the change
  • Become a UX influencer within the organization

Targeted Audience

UX-PM 3 certification is best suited for UX-PM Level 2 certified practitioners or professionals who have 5+ years of experience leading a technology-based solution or service.

Course Details

In this course, we will cover:

  • Linking the product to the service (introduction to Service Design)
  • Transforming the organization through Service Design, measuring the UX maturity models – example of a 5-step roadmap
  • Building the internal capacity of your UX team: Understand the many disciplines of UX and hire the right skill set for your project
  • Collaborating through participatory design, co-creation and problem solving (divergent and convergent thinking)
  • Prototyping sprints (fail fast)
  • Measuring UX, CX & usability using Key experience indicators
  • Growing UX knowledge within the organization

Combination of theory, practical exercises and problem-solving methods

Certification Exam

There is an online certification exam at the end of the third morning of training.

Who's Teaching?
Alasdair Stuart-Bell is a bilingual information management consultant and researcher with over 20 years of experience. For the past 18 years, Alasdair has focused on providing services to the public and private sectors in areas such as communications, information architecture, business process reengineering, project management, strategy, service improvement, business transformation, performance measurement, market research, public opinion research and e-government.
Having run a successful company in the private sector landscape, Alasdair is also well versed in issues related to marketing, sales and procurement, leadership and human resource management, amongst others. His clients have involved him in initiatives for Canadians, business, non-Canadians, not-for-profit organizations and the private sector. Alasdair has an M.B.A. from Dalhousie University, which focused on Marketing, International Business, and Information Technology and a B.A. in Political Studies from McGill University.

Outside of Canada, the certification is offered in United-States, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, France, India, Italy, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, and Switzerland, with more countries coming.

Cancellation & copyright

Yu Centrik, the UX agency, reserves the right to cancel a course up to 5 business days prior to the scheduled course date if the minimum class size of 4 participants has not been attained.
Yu Centrik is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred as a result of a cancellation.

There is no charge if you cancel a course at least ten business days before the course start date.
If you cancel between two and nine business days before the course start date, you will be required to pay half of the registration fees.
If you fail to show up to a course or cancel the day before the course start date, you will be required to pay the registration fees in full. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (e-mail).
Substitution of participants can be made, at no charge, until the course start date. Should Yu Centrik be forced to cancel a course, 100% of your registration fees will be reimbursed.
