Course Content

The course, Designing Engaging Forms, addresses the relationship between the end-users’ tasks and the form components including labels, data entry fields, action buttons and error messages.

Different components of online forms will be presented along with reading patterns and process efficiency. An overview of the different design approaches will be presented as well as user interface best practices and standards for forms.

Who's Teaching?

Ignacio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Design & Complexity, Human Computer Interaction, where he developed an interest for mobile and immersive experiences.

He has 8 years in user interface design, since his arrival in the UX agency, Yu Centrik, Ignacio has worked on design projects involving digital platforms associated with physical products.

He took part in various research projects in collaboration, in immersive spaces and in co-design. In October 2015, Ignacio received an innovation award from NASA for his SmartWatch‘s application prototype.

He masters the following tools and techniques: wireframes, prototypes in Axure, responsive interfaces’ specifications, flows and diagrams, systems’ ergonomic, graphic design using the Adobe Suite, sketch, storyboards, patterns, experience map modelling, style guides, interviews with users and user tests.
